What's the Neighborhood Like?
The Briargrove neighborhood has been around for awhile and after it was initially populated with mostly ranch homes it remained unchanged until the area started filling up with residents. Now you can find a 3 bedroom townhome for around $300k and a 7,500 sq ft mansion for $3M+. There are still many ranch homes here but lots of them have been remodeled on the inside and out.

The Houston Independent School District has zoned the following public schools to the Briargrove area including, Briargrove Elementary School, Grady Middle School and Lee High School. However, residents of Briargove do have the option of attending either Lamar High School or Westside High School in place of Lee High School. As far as private schools are concerned, St. Michael is a Roman Catholic K-8 school in this area, there is also a K-12 Islamic school called the Al-Hadi School.
