One of the restaurants I visit with some regularity is a litle place in Seaford called Il Felice. With an unassuming ediface, you could easily pass it by, heading east or west on Merrick Road. The cuisine is Northern Italian, the menu varied. They offer a price fixe lunch with a number of tasty options, including an appetizer, main course and dessert. I always manage to take a little something home for later.
If you like eggplant, you'll find their delectable eggplant rollatini in the Antipasti section of the dinner menu. To try to describe it is almost impossible, other than to say it melts in your mouth, melding a succulent combination of flavors that will leave you clamoring for more. Their chicken Francese is another of my favorites, always tender, sauted in a delicate lemon/white wine sauce and served with a mixture of crisp potatoes, carrots and broccoli.
You'll find many delicious options in their varied menu, whether your preference is chicken, fish, veal or pasta. Open for lunch most days, you'll want to give this one a try.
Served up along with really good food at reasonable prices is the easy banter with a caring staff who do everything in their power to make you feel at home. If you decide to come by and give it a try, you just might find me sitting there, at a table by the window.
