Washington Auto Show 2014

The Washington Auto Show starts today January 23, 2014 at the Washington Convention Center and runs through February 2, 2014. The show isn’t just for auto enthusiasts although they’ll have a great time admiring all the latest technology and designs in the auto world. It’s also a family event, the latest safety features will be on display and there are plenty of sites for kids and adults alike to check out. The show doubled from five to eleven days this year and is the largest public show in Washington DC.

What: Washington Auto Show 2014

Where: 801 Mount Vernon Place NW Washington, DC 20001

When: January 23 to February 2, 2014

Cost: Adults- $12/ Kids (Ages 6-12) $5/ Kids under 5 - Free

Tickets can be purchased online.

Be sure to check the Washington Auto Show website for discount days that include special offers for Military personnel, seniors, and students. Players from the Washington Redskins and Washington Nationals will be making appearances along with other celebrity guests. Exhibitors include Aston Martin, GMC, Audi, Land Rover, Toyota, BMW, Honda, Dodge, Buick, Rolls Royce, Ford, Jeep, Kia, Subaru and many others. There will be no shortage of new cars to admire and you can even enter the Toyota “Hands On” contest for a chance to win a new Toyota.

Amanda, most of my young life I traveled to DC for the annual auto-show. I met Batman and Robin, a couple dozen actors I don't recall, more Playboy bunnies than I can count and I saw some of the most amazing automobiles ever made. It was the first time I ever went on a road trip where I drove. Of course 70 miles to a newbie driver was like circling the moon. Good times.
