Does Anybody Use Nextdoor?

By
Real Estate Agent with Resident Realty FA.100079118

I just signed up for Nextdoor which is a website and App that connects you with your neighbors and people living in your area. I haven't had time to look too much into it but it seems like it has some potential both for real estate and for generally getting to know some of the folks that live in and around your neighborhood.

I am wondering how many of my fellow ActiveRainers use it and what your thoughts and advice might be? If you don't use it, go check it out at nextdoor.com and see what you think.

Also, what other similar sites and apps do you know of? I am always looking to learn and love finding out what tools my colleagues are using.

I saw this a few months ago, but couldn't get it to work...because I live in an condo and didn't enter my unit # and so now it keeps telling me the password doesn't match (since it's someone else's acct).

Marina, you bet! It seems like a pretty good resource even for just knowing what is going on in your own neighborhood. Thanks for commenting

I think it is very important to be connected in your community. I find it very beneficial to receive updates about local events, vendor advice, crime updates, etc.
