There has been little change from the previous week. The basic trends are still in place and unbroken. The supply of homes continues to increase and we are now over 30,000 properties for sale. More daunting is the demand for housing continues to decline. This reading is one of the lowest over the past 14 years. The 3-16-14 Real Estate Report from the Cromford Report is strongly showing a divergence of buyers versus seller. There are more sellers and fewer buyers which translates into a continuation of the current buyer's market.
The plan for sellers should be to price at the market, don't think try and get a price above it. The plan for buyers should be to plan on taking a strong negotiation stance when submitting their purchase offer.
