Technologies developed by spinout companies based on technologies created by ASU researchers raised approx $68 million in external funding during the 2013 fiscal year.

When the next phases of the ASU SkySong Tech Center III & IV  are completed along with the apartments there will be over 900,000 sq.ft.  The expectation is to have 1.2 million sq.ft. of commercial space and 800 residential units and this should be need driven.
