This post is part of my Meet the Team series, which introduces you to HouseLens staff.
It feels a bit odd, but today I'm introducing myself. I'm Jim Griffin, COO of HouseLens. I also happen to be a licensed real estate agent, which is why I'm part of the ActiveRain community.
I was born and raised right here in Nashville, HouseLens' home market, and I'm really excited about the all the cool things happening in “N-Town” these days. Aside from all our great events, food, and music, we've got some beautiful parks and greenways, which is where I like to go hiking and running with my wife Sara and chocolate lab Nestle. I also love hanging out with my three boys or sitting in the audience at one of their many extracurricular events.
On the professional side, I've been an entrepreneur my entire adult life and am grateful to have owned several successful small businesses. Much of my experience is in real estate, whether working as a residential agent, in commercial real estate development, or in hotel development.

That's partly what drew me to HouseLens, but I also knew Andrew was onto something with his focus on video. It's changing the way we communicate with each other – there's no going back! I also loved Andrew's vision for building a company that would not only be successful in its own right but would also help others (that's you, our clients) succeed. And I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of people. I'm telling you: these folks in my office really are the best at what they do!
As HouseLens moves forward, I'm excited about what the future holds. I know this is my opportunity to be a world-changer and participate in something that's bigger than just me!
