Slow Market Area

I know that everyone is worried about Market Conditions.  So am I but there are things that we can do to help the market.  One of the hardest things we can do is be realistic in our pricing of our listings.  I know that our clients want to list at the highest possible price but this is not always the best avenue to travel.  If your listing is competing with 10-15 other listings it has to stand out.  The best way to make it stand out is to price it correctly to begin with.  Most of the time the first thing a REALTOR ask a client is how much do you want to spend and if your listing does not fall into that range most of the time it's not going to get showings.  The second thing we can do to make the listing stand out is stage the home, make buyers want to live in this home.  This includes the outside of the home.  Curb appeal can make or break your listing.  Third make your home smells fresh and clean.  Get rid of pet odors etc.  More to come.

Hi Tom.  Great call on the pricing.  Correctly priced homes sell.  Period.
