Your Water Heater Is About To

Cause Serious Damage

So you have a home in Sacramento and are wondering how long your water heater will last, the answer is not always easy but the warning signs may help. Indoor water heaters in Sacramento can last 10, 15 or 20 years or more, but when they do get older look for some tell-tale signs that the end of the heater life is near.

Is your water heater not getting as hot as it use to be?

Has your water heater been making loud noises when heating?

Are you starting to get some water at the base of the water heater?

Do you run out of hot water soon after starting use?

These are some very common signs that your heater is running out of life, consider getting a new one unit. If the unit is fairly new, you may be able to has the heater check and new parts installed. Of course some problems are greater than others.

It's one things to run out of water, but not nearly as serious as water leaking around the base of the water heater. It has been my experience in Sacramento that water heaters are at a high risk of failing after a small leak has started. Imagine not only getting flooded with 50 gallons of water, but a constant flow of water until the water is shut off for repair.

If you need help in determining whether or not you need to replace your water heater in Sacramento, contact a qualified water heater professional.

Very good advice here John.  I think so many of us let the little things go and before you know it, there are problems.
