Finally More Points.

2504 profile points ( didn't do a very good job the first time I entered information),

0 invite points - I invited a bunch of people the same day the new rates went into effect last winter,

3416 blogging points (two of my blogs have been featured. WOOOOO HOOOO!!),

6175 comment points ( It's informative and entertaining to read posts and write comments. I want to be like Broker Bryant's wife when I grow up so I can ROARRRRR!!),

0 linking points because evidently you don't get points for linking, but the space remains on the site and makes me feel as though I'm not doing all I can do,

0 bonus points that I got the first week for reading the Active Rain rules and regulations ( or something similar) and ...

5400 'other points' that I have absolutely no idea how I got, I am fixing to go over 20,000 points with the credits that will be awarded for writing this post.

Now that may not sound like much to some of you who have been on Active Rain for a couple of years, but for someone who just got started a month a go not bad

Well, I don't know how long it took you to figure this out, but I must admit it took me at least 9 months before I focused in on the point system! Then it took a webinar with Bob for me to understand benefits of the point system!

Other points include 100 points a day for logging in. And if you report spam I believe that's also where they get credited.

The linking points are mystery:) They are there but you can not get them.

Other points can be for logging in. You know, if you visit AR every day, you'll get 100 point daily.

Try AR contests, those are good for points and it just fun:)

Dick, if you haven't figured it out yet...there are LOTS of members willing to lend a hand or answer a question when you have one. I look at some of the big hitters here in AR (like VB#6 above) and I'm in awe at what they've accomplished. It just take time and a lot of hard work to get there. I can still remember back when I only had 7,000 points or so thinking that I was hot stuff...it really is so much more than the points.
