Austin, Texas - Noel Grisham Middle School is part of Round Rock ISD. Since 2007, Grisham has been an authorized International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme school, the first of its kind in the Round Rock Independent School District. During their three years in this program, students develop: a) critical thinking skills in a challenging, interdisciplinary academic environment; b) an awareness of themselves as learners and citizens; c) and an acute sense of the world at large. Successful completion of the MYP will better prepare students to choose more challenging classes (Pre-AP, AP) in high school and will also be more prepared to pursue Westwood’s optional IB Diploma program. Student successes in IB programs are powerful indicators to later success in colleges and universities throughout the world.
