The latest Panda update (mid May 2014) boosted my site. It was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Several of my top articles had fallen in the serps. They were still doing well (getting over 1,000 clicks a month), but not nearly as well as they were doing before Hummingbird.
Well last month brought a pleasant surprise. Several of my posts jumped back up, and I'm now at a record high getting around 22,000 unique visitors per month to my site at TheFlooringGirl.com. My top post of all time is now How long does it take to refinish your hardwood floors? It now has over 48,000 clicks and based on last few days, is getting over 4,700 clicks/month.
Several other posts have bounced back as well, and I now have 5 posts generating over 2000 clicks per month. Many of these articles generate high quality leads as well and my customers actually remember what I wrote!
In a few more days, I'll have a full month's worth of data to analyze.
