David Hill Winery
This winery is tucked in the hills outside of Forest Grove, Oregon.
Lush wines and a perfect setting for a picnic. Gosh we had a great time June 11th!
I had lots of opportunities for photos.
This is just one of them as we ended our time there and headed home to Fishhawk Lake. It's only a little over an hour's drive through stunning countryside.
This reminds me of my years living in Europe and going on wine tasting tours!
Now that's a view! Just beautiful-lush and green! Hoping to visit the Portland and some wine country next summer (2015) and maybe stop by Fishhawk Lake!! xoxo

Joanna, you HAVE to stay with me! My friends actually MAKE wine here...they have great winemaker connections, TOO.
Wineries often make such delightful photo scenes. I usually travel to Napa-Sonoma wine country once a year, just to take in the treasured views.
I live in New York State Wine Country!! The scenery is beautiful and the wine is wonderful. A perfect hobby Gayle!!

Janis, what types of grapes grow there? I 'm from NY state, upstate, actually. I didn't know it was known for anything except Niagara grapes.
Great picture of the winery. I think grape plants are very pretty and it is too bad that they look dead 1/2 the year.
Only one photo? The scenery is great but where is the photo of the food? Darn it now I need to go eat.
Kristin, true, but I guess it's all in how you look at it...dormant, not dead, perhaps?
