La Jolla Cove

Located right off Scripps Park, La Jolla Cove beach has public restrooms available, beach showers, lifeguards on duty from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and picnic areas. Windansea Beach
Have you ever seen those gorgeous shoreline photos of La Jolla? If so, then this is probably where those photos came from. Also, if you are an experienced surfer, this is the spot for you. This beach boasts great waves, beautiful reefs, and most of all a picturesque shoreline. Another great perk of this beach is that dogs are permitted after 6pm year round. La Jolla Children’s Pool
Located just south of Point Mencinger, La Jolla Children’s Pool was originally conceived for young children to swim and for family’s to enjoy. It has now formed into a place where sea lions and seals bask in the sun and enjoy the warm water of the cove. Here you can enjoy swimming in the warm water of the cove or enjoying a walk along the manmade sea wall with 360 degree views of the coast. This beach has free parking, restrooms, and showers.
