Shoes, um I mean boots. That's exactly what I did this last Tuesday night. We were looking for something fun to do so we hit one of our favorite places, downtown Chandler.
Those who know me really well, know that I am not a country music person. However, last year as a gift, my husband gave me dance lessons which included Arizona Two Step. The dance lessons were a process, not for me who loves to dance and been doing so for many years, but for him. He literally has two left feet. His hobby is drumming and for some reason drummers just can't dance.
So after many lessons with with him giving me smashed feet, sore shoulders, and finally a bum knee, we gave it up last November.
Fast forword to Tuesday, we decided to give it a try again and headed off to Bourbon Jacks. Bourbon Jacks hosted a free one hour lesson and then open dancing after that. It was great fun and a huge thanks to both Bourbon Jacks for hosting and East Valley Kickers for the free lesson.
