Chester County in August

In case there was any doubt about the men in my life, here's a photo of one of my favorite little men, enjoying August in Chester County, PA. I'm a summer woman and in my humble opinion, this summer is going by WAY TOO FAST.

Just as soon as the signs for the Goshen County Fair go up in July, my heart dims a bit because I know that after that, which falls on the first week of August, summer is swiftly coming to an end. This summer, the weather has been absolutely beautiful with cool nights and warm breezy days.

JJ and I enjoy our walks after dinner and with the arrival of autumn, we'll be doing it in the dark.

Here's to what's left of summer. Enjoy it.

Susan-I used to love summer when I lived in NY but don't like it so much in the south. Way too hot. Spring and Fall are best and winter for the most part is decent with not too much snow or real good temps with the exception of last winter which had both.

Maybe since you are a summer gal then you were born in September so you would have a whole month to celebrate and not think so much about summer coming to a close.
