As I was driving back from Ocean City, MD last week, my car made a strange noise. I know a lot about houses but very little about cars ... just enough to know that my car wasn't supposed to make a noise like that. I - very carefully - made it home that night and called "my" mechanic the very next day.
Isn't it nice to have a car repair shop you are so comfortable with that you can refer to them as "my" car repair shop? While it was annoying to have to deal with a car issue (have buyers and listings = need car), I knew that I didn't have to worry about it, API Auto Service would take care of it.
API squeezed me in the very next day - with a noise like that it was best not to drive around - did their assessment quickly, told me exactly what to expect, provided a courtesy ride home (and picked me up again, too) and fixed it the same day.
It turned out that a wheel bearing had gone bad (thank goodness I didn't drive around more!). On a side-note, if your car sounds like a drone (or somebody just started up a lawnmower right next to you) when you accelerate to 30+ mph and it's a steady noise, have your mechanic check your wheel bearings.
My car is running just fine again, thanks to API. When you are having car trouble, call them at (410) 579-8422, they'll take great care of you and your car. API spells Service with a capital "S". I am not the only one who thinks so, by the way, click here to read more reviews.
