BS... FU,FU,FU

By
Real Estate Agent with Your Town Realty

I have a binder called                          BS... FU, FU, & FU

It's my leads binder. Buyers/Sellers... Follow Up, Follow Up and Follow Up !!!!! As most of you all know.  It's not in the first contact that we get most of our clients.  We HAVE to follow up on buyers and sellers within an apprehendable time.  We contact all our callers asap and new contacts that we read out to asap also. Once we know what the want and looking for (as a buyer and/or sell)  we always follow up within 2 weeks of we don't contact then sooner due to their situation, then depending on their situation we contact them within the next 30 days.   How long do you wait till you follow up with a prospect?  How often to you contact buyers on average when you don't have any new houses that meet their criteria or if you have no showing appointments for a seller?  It is our job to follow up with clients as much as needed with the clients, not having them contacting us for updates and info.

Follow up is everything in our business.  Our listings here in Pittsburgh are 1 yr long unless the seller requests something shorter. We are Realtors should be contacting buyers and sellers consistently with updates, info, and ideas.  We are The Warrene Team make it a major priority as part of our business.

BS...FU, FU, & FU and follow up some more.

Some of those buyers need more time I try and call them every three months. Others much sooner. It depends on what their needs are.

Steve: Great blog. Wow! I would love to have the liberty a 1 year long listing would provide me, but here in San Diego, sellers typically will go no longer than 6 months if the listing agent is lucky.

Steve, it depends on each case. Every person, house, and situation is different so my FU is tailored to meet their needs.

Sussie, Everything depends on their needs :) We have people that are very sensative and when we call, we end up talking to them about life, etc... then we have others that are straight forward and the calss are about 2 minutes.

Sandy & Norm, I dont like any of our listings to last more than 3 months.

Troy, You rmind in the gutter.. Thats what I put it that way, so I can get a smile out of others when they see the cover on my binder.

Maria, we all have to tailor our FU systems, but at least you are FU with your leads.

Keep FU,FU,FU...and FU with everyone guys.  Money is in the FU
