I don't always do closing gifts, - many times my gift has been helping pay for something that has been an obstacle to the transaction. But recently we have had some sales that went just fine. Two were with long term clients who had looked for 2 years!
I like to personalize the gifts - make them specific to the client. Gabrielle bought a brand new home with a lot of neautral colors and some dark accents. We gave her two brown glaze patio planter bowls some mums and a bottle of wine. Milca got a 60"s ranch style stucco, she has a large family, husband 4 sons and a daughter. She has a good sense of style, she got a tiger print tote thing (combo of a purse and a suitcase) that I know will come in handy when she travels to her son's boxing matches, a really cool large brown metal rooster and a bottle of wine. Charles and Aaron bought a rural property that is all fixed up, they got a beautiful green glazed patio pot and the other rooster.
One of the more fun ones recently has been Dan. When he came in he didn't think he could buy, but he was wrong! He wound up with a bungalow and shop on an acre plus for 85000. We got him a travel chiar and very cool set of camo camping glasses.
Just rambling on about an aspect of our job that is kindof fun.
Have a good weekend all.
