The wind in the air…..

Sometimes simple things make an impression and sometimes we just don't think about them. I was walking by a field and saw the wind by simply remembering to notice. It was a little thing but it made a difference in my day.  Ever wonder what you miss by forgetting to be aware?

This is a very true statement.  Sometimes we do get too distracted to see so much around us.  Thanks for the reminder to slow down today and smell the roses.

Sheila - I love your photo and wish you would share more with us. You're right - we need to spend some time to stop a smell the roses.

Good afternoon friends and thank you for stopping by and leaving your comments and offering your support: I really appreciate it.

Hello Paula. You are very kind and I do appreciate your support very much. Distraction is easy but concentration isn't always. Thank you.

Hi Bob. I am ever mindful of the gifts we have and how lucky we are.  The simple things give meaning and depth to everything. Thank you so much.

Hello Kathy. I am working on incorporating more photos into my blogs. Earlier today I shared a large amout. Thank you for your encouragement: it means a lot. http://activerain.com/blogsview/4495173/pictures-from-everywhere---

Oh soooo much, I'm sure!  Not noticing is a real problem for me.  I'm working on appreciating my surroundings more, and when I do it's wonderful!

My allergies do not let me forget when the wind is blowing.  But yes, I know what you mean...one of the things I really take note of is driving down a tree lined street and see the thousands of shades of green.  And that is just one color. We are so blessed that God gave us color and not just black and white and grey.

Sheila, without doubt there is so much that we miss...I try to be aware of my surroundings and look for the little things that my otherwise slip by...it's amazing what you see when you slow down and just look.

Sheila, that photo brought back memories of lying on my back in the sun in a field just outside our schoolyard as a kid.  Thanks for a great trip down memory lane....and being aware at the time....without a care.
