In the region of Tuscany the farmer plants the grapes to make the wine. In the process of harvesting the grapes, I witnessed the farmer's passion for honoring the grapes with respect and appreciation. Instantaneously, I was filled with a new height of understanding with mutual appreciation. There is something unique about the relationship between the farmer and his crops that he grows to achieve success that easily transcended down to my senses. That happy feeling of togetherness left me with a different sense of peace and understanding.
What I witnessed was not man's domination over the grapes but rather his interaction with the produce that offered me food for thought. When there is a product to be sold there must be cooperative interaction. The farmer stays focused on his mission and professionally meets his challenges through all types of weather and circumstances. He does not desert his grapes but rather tends to them wisely. Keenly, I was aware of the choices he makes to relate to grapes in a way that honors the heart and soul of man. This experience in Tuscany strengthened my belief about the importance of bringing out the best in myself and caused me to feel the exultation of being true to my personal beliefs about combining love, strength, compassion, understanding, and mutual respect with word and action.
A journey to Tuscany is not just a vacation, it's an open dialogue with the land, crops, environment, and observation of life experiences that sparks my imagination leaving me with a sense of awe with greater appreciation for what we have here on earth. As a REALTOR© I follow the compass of my heart to develop greater aspects of customer service to provide quality services to the consumer. When it comes to education, I seek not just to read but to experience another way of life and I come away with personal understanding of professional challenges. Education began with agriculture - I am created to mirror through observation the relationship between man and all living things here on earth.
