Every day is a good day - some just better than others, but if you're reading this today, then it means you're among the living today, so it's a good day!
I hear people say, "I'm having a bad day" or "today is not a good day". Well, think about it for a moment, it's really not the DAY, but it's that something happened to you or around you that caused a feeling of discomfort or your emotions have changed from being happy, satisfied, or even joyful. We can't control what others say or do, but we can control what we allow others to give to us, whether it's things, sayings, or even their attitude. It's not their actions that make us have a bad day, but it's our reaction that causes you to have a bad day or disrupt your thinking and emotions.
So, remember it's always a Good Day, it's your feelings or emotions that have allowed you to have a "bad day". Don't allow others to change your feelings or thoughts about you or your day!
Here are just a few of my tips in how I make sure I always have a good day:
1) When I wake up, I acknowledge and thank GOD for yet another day to be among the living.
2) I don't listen to the news in the morning, which we know there's always something bad or sad happening out there.
3) I read a scripture or two before I leave the house, I'm always listening to praise and worship in my car.
4) I write and say my affirmations for the day. Example: "Today is going to be a good day, and I will rejoice and be glad in it". "I'm an awesome spirit being with infinite potential". "Someone somewhere is looking to buy or sell a home, so I just have to be prepared to meet them today".
5) I remind people that I'm not a dumping ground or trash can - I don't want to hear or listen to trash, gossip, or those who always have something to say that is negative or tearing down of others.
It's a good day and every day you wake up on this side of the earth, is truly a blessing to you, your family, and your friends! Go and enjoy the rest of the day. We only have TODAY! Yesterday is Gone and we can't change it, TOMORROW is not promised to you and it actually never comes, it's always TODAY!
