FAQ Series, Tenant question: Is that rent price negotiable?

My video updating continues... with a new video in which I discuss what happens when prospective tenants ask for places at a reduced price.

Hope folks find a bit of value here.

Remember..... Feel free to suggest a video topic!  Have a Property Management question?  Let me know, and I'll answer it and make a video from it.  Chances are pretty good that I'll have an answer for you- and you'll likely be able to help others who might also find value in the question and its answer!

Hi, Pete:  Thank you for dropping by and for your comment and kind words.  It truly is a bit unseen activity within the property management realm.  To be sure, there are times on the sales side of life when deals fall through at the last minute due to a myriad of reasons that have nothing to do with the subject property- but the sheer volume of tenants/prospects in the rentals world llends itself to more scenarios where a beautiful, well-priced property can sit empty  for a while through no fault of the place itself.

Tenant prospects often have no clue of what's been going on with properties, other prospects, etc.- and only look at a place that's been on the market for a while as blemished in some way rather than as a place that might very well be fine, yet one that attracts more than its share of Reject Pile-quality interest.
