Whether your rental house is Big or Small

you might need a property manager...

If you answer any of the following questions with a yes, then you might need a property manager:

  1.  You have multiple properties
  2.  You don't live near your rental property
  3.  You don't know the tenant-landlord laws
  4.  You don't want to personally interact with the tenant
  5.  You don't have the time or procedures in place to protect yourself
  6.  Tenants can't seem to pay on time
  7.  Eviction scares the daylights out of you
  8.  Fair Housing laws you don't understand!

If you answered yes to at least two of these , then you would benefit from hiring a propery manager!

Good afternoon Russell and Tracy! Great list of tips. I deal with all of these things as I manage properties as well as selling them for the owners or helping buyers find homes. All of what you mentioned is very true. A lot of owners do not consider what property managers need to know or have to deal with.
