The restaurants that exist in Durham, NC are award-winning, but new ones continue to be created here in the Bull City. One of the latest and greatest is Rose's Meat Market and Sweet Shop that began last year, much to Durham locavores' delight.
While the Meats portion of the store does traffic in pork, beef, lamb, chicken, sausages, bacons, and hamburgers that are purchased whole from nearby farms, and is legendary in its own right. But, the real attraction to me is the Sweet section.
Check out the image below to see if your tastebuds begin to water as well. If they do, travel to Gregson and Main Street in downtown Durham to visit the Shop of Earthly Delights to satisfy them until your next visit to Rose's Meat Market and Sweet Shop.
