Is it by design that Veterans Day is November 11 – 2 weeks before Thanksgiving?

This is a time to give thanks to ALL Veterans and those currently serving and protecting our Freedom.

Without the commitment of these veterans for the past near 240 years, we would not be able to celebrate the harvest of the fruits of our labors throughout the year.

As a veteran of the US Army, I can’t help but get all mushy and sentimental and proud around Veterans Day as memories of my days in the corps spin through my mind.

If you know a Veteran, I hope you’ll spend the next few days conspiring a way to honor that veteran on November 11 even if it’s just a simple “thank you!” and a hug.
