In honor of hubby's birthday I thought I'd share a picture. The photo speaks to his true character. Chris (hubby), Claire (the savvy photographer aka daughter) and I went to dinner at the Green Turtle in Westminster following the Miracle on Main Street Parade last Saturday evening. We were cold, tired and hungry.
The host sat us next to a family of four, a mom, a dad and two children, a boy and a girl, who had finished their meal.
The little girl was fascinated by my Chris' whiskers. He had back to her so she said "Hey" to get his attention and a better look. Then she surprised us all by reaching out and touching his beard with her whole hand. She look and looked at him. Again and again she would get his attention and reach out and feel his whiskers
Chris was patient and kind with her. He has a soft spot for children. Before her family left the restaurant, she had to feel his goatee one more time. It was a precious moment.
Happy Birthday honey, I'm proud to be your partner in life. I love you more than words can say.
