One “Old REALTOR®” now into his late 60s and I talked recently. He revealed that he had devised his Asheville REALTOR® 30-year game-plan. He has lifelong associations with his clients who now are asking his assistance as they pay cash for age-appropriate dwellings.
A trend in the real estate market
That brought to mind a summary by Award-winning journalist and reporter on surprising findings of interest to Post50 People. Recently she spotlighted articles from the Wall Street Journal, NAR and The New York Times— possibly of interest to our colleagues and clients — bits and pieces of which I’ve included below:

New data from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) shows which markets may attract the most boomers in the coming years.
DEBUNKING POST50 MYTHS: WSJ: 6 Myths of Aging —Prevalence of depression, the inevitable creep of cognitive decline, and older workers are less productive are some of the six common myths about aging debunked by WSJ in a recent article.
AGING IN PLACE: NY Times: “... living in their own apartments, homes or condos, new research reveals...” better living conditions.
PLANNING: Multifamily Developers: Housing’s Future — ... within a larger community [developers feature ] mixed-use ... [with] appeal to the urbanized Baby Boomer.
