This is a great event for younger kids who might not be able to stay awake until midnight. In addition, the Butterfly Pavilion drops the ball every half hour so all kids will be able to see it. Also if you are a member of the Children’s Museum, admission to their New Year’s Eve party is free.
Zoo Year’s Eve at the Denver Zoo

See the famous Zoo Lights display, go crazy at the dance party, be dazzled by the magic show and watch your kids get transformed into wild animals when they have their faces painted by professional artists.
Commitment Day at the State Capitol Building
Every New Year’s Day, Denver holds its Commitment Day 5K walk to emphasize the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through fitness activities. Skate the Lake
Evergreen Start the New Year’s off with the kids by going to the Skate the Lake event in Evergreen! This is a SUPER-fun New Year’s Event that my kids and I have experienced. Skate on Evergreen Lake, see beautiful ice sculptures, enjoy yummy food from local vendors and enjoy the fireworks!
Learn How to Fly at iFly
Take the family skydiving on New Year’s Eve–well, not really skydiving but close enough to the real thing! iFLY is the ultimate, indoor skydiving simulation that re-creates free fall conditions experienced while actually skydiving. iFLY uses a vertical wind tunnel that generates a powerful, wall-to-wall air cushion on which your family can float safely and securely. No experience is necessary and even children as young as four can “learn” how to fly at iFLY.
I hope you enjoy these recommendations and have a FABULOUS and BLESSED New Year!!!
