I fell asleep in Arizona and woke up in Canada

Excuse me God? I hate to interupt your busy day but this is Arizona! You know, the Valley of the Sun. Home of the perfect 70 degree winter weather. How am I supposed write a blog post to potential out-of-state buyers thinking of relocating to our wonderful state with weather like this? I don't even know where my jackets and scarves are at. As far as gloves are concerned, I don't own any. I'll have to keep my hands wrapped around a hot cup of coffee all day I suppose. Come to think of it, that's actually a perk not a complaint. Anyways, can You turn the heat back on up there?

Nicole - you're right some low lying areas in Southern California had some of that white stuff along with freezing temps this week --- very unusual and I guess we've sent some of those cooling trends your way.   It's in the 30s as I write this comment.

Dallas is in the low thirties today.  Fortunately, we stayed a degree or two above freezing last night and dodged an ice storm.  I hope you warm up quickly in Arizona!  Happy New Year!

Brian - My daugher wants to take some pictures of the snow on the Superstitions.

Sharon - We just barely hit freezing overnight for half a second but not long enough to worry about wrapping my outside pipes.

Erin - 10 degrees you say? I grew up in Michigan and I don't miss those temps at all!

Chris - It's a sad day when VA is warmer than AZ!

46 degree swings are a bit much but they do happen

Don't you just hate when that happens.  We get the occassional dip to freezing temperatures here and I handle it because it kills bugs and it's good for the spring peach crop, but I don't want it to last too long.

Nicole, We were in the mid 40-s here due to an unexpected cold-front that blew in that left a skiff of snow the night before. Come on Spring! Happy 2015 to you!
