Go Take a Hike at Almaden Quicksilver Park
If anyone ever tells you to "go take a hike" I highly recommend Almaden Quicksilver Park. This park is among the many wonderful Silicon Valley Parks.
Enjoy spectacular views of the valley, hiking trails, bike trails, and equestrian trails. The trails are pet friendly. If you bring your dog be sure it is on a leash.
I like to pack a lunch or snack and lots of water. The only potable water is at the Mockingbird Hill and Hacienda entrance.
This beautiful trail in Almaden Valley is guaranteed fun. You will enjoy many miles of country terrain, rolling hills, old mines and historic buildings.
This landmark of California history consists of 4,152 acres and the site of over 135 years of mining activity. It was once home to more than 1,800 miners and their families in the later part of the 19th century.
Almaden Valley is a great place to live and play. I know my clients who live there would not want to live anywhere else. It's a highly desirable bedroom community with top rated schools.
