$100,000 Website for Blackbeard's Castle?

Real Estate Broker/Owner with True Sarasota Real Estate

Since 1967, a local family has accumulated and preserved almost three acres, including eight centuries-old estates, in downtown Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, USVI. This unique compilation includes Estate Skytsborg aka Blackbeard’s Castle, Haagensen House, Villa Notman, Hotel 1829, Bank House, Magens-Pedersen Estate, Mendlicott Estate and the Brittania House. The grounds, restored homes and botanical gardens are absolutely stunning.

In order to market the property, a special website was designed for Blackbeard's Castle called Estate Skytsborg. What do you think this site cost to develop?

Um, too much would be my guess, but then, they are asking $18,000,000. so they probably see it as a necessary cost of doing business.

Crikey? $100k? Goodness. For another $20k, I'll set up a Twitter AND Facebook account for them (the sale, not the current business), and post daily until it sells.

This is not a very fancy site - there are not even links for many named places which would be ideal to link to and write more pages and link to. Also, the photography isn't great even though they spent money on the aerials. I would hope they didn't pay more than $3000 for this website and photography and maybe a little more for the aerials, and honestly, they could have gotten it done for $1500 with the right people and with the right people, it would have been better.
