All of a sudden, anyone using Turbo Tax to file their Minnesota taxes, need to listen up.
the Stat of Minnesota is not accepting Turbo Tax filings.
Some fraud is suspected and many who have filed may have to re-file.
Turbo Tax was a great short cut for filing for many...But once again the short cut ends up costing more time.
Solution....

That is very interesting. I filed last year with Turbo Tax and my taxes were all messed up by the time I got them done.
You know William...I just wish the dirtbags who spend time and effort to cheat...would spend that same time and effort to work hard.
Ouch! That's a bummer! I wonder if it is just in Minnesota or if there is trouble with the software all over.
Bill, last night they said it was not Turbo Tax'x fault...per TT, but the state says they will not accept any filing form that source.

Yes, Bill. They had a representative from TurboTax on the KARE 11 morning program explaining the problem that will Affect many. They did a pretty good job of detailing the problems and solutions. I hope that this being done this early will help a lot of filers who would have had more problems down the line!
The state now says that they will accept Turbo Tax filings as the issues have been taken care of.
