Echo Doughnuts Lounge
Echo Doughnuts LoungeWashougal WA Quirky & Fun!
We visited this cute Echo Doughnut Lounge today located right off "Love St." and "Main St." in Washougal WA. (1801 Main St.) The Echo Doughnut Lounge has much more than just doughnuts!! It also has an eccentric and fun music oriented area with cafe tables so you can sit and enjoy the open mic entertainers. We were fortunate enough to get to hear a young woman named Malea playing her guitar and singing. Her voice is incredible...and she attends Washougal High School! I told her she was going to be famous some day.
We also browsed through some of their copies of music vinyl....there were some cool choices there. I also bought a book I LOVE there called "Eccentric America" and it was for sale there for only $2.99! That book sells for $20.00 on Amazon sometimes. What a treat. It's a fun book for traveling the U.S....quirky yard art, car art and quirkly festivals. So Echo Doughnut Lounge has surprises and fun that's really unexpected. Check it out.
Right when you walk inside the front door....you experience wafting rich doughnuty smells cooking and the rich coffee smells too. These little cutie pie little doughnuts are being fried in a fryer right near the front as you arrive. It's delicious and invititing! These smells took me back to my origins in Lousianna/Mississippi at the New Orleans French Market and Cafe Du Monde. Tripadvisor says Echo Doughnuts Lounge is rated #5 out of 29 restaurants located in Washougal! (Who knew we have 29 restaurants? I've never counted. I did count churches one time and we have about 32 in Camas/Washougal area.)
My husband Mike and I ordered six doughnuts, the scrumptious Powdered Sugar ones and the Mini Cinni ones. Each doughnut has a slightly crispy crust, classic and divine! There are also grilled sandwiches and some sweet ones from your childhood too....we'll be going back soon to try some of those!
Check out Echo Doughnut Lounge! It's Much More Than Just Doughnuts!
