Whispering Woods is a highly sought-after development in NE Coral Springs. There are many reasons for the neighborhood’s high demand. Some of those reasons are: custom executive and estate homes, acre homesites with underground utilities, guard gated and 24 hour security, meticulously maintained common areas, good schools, and a convenient location.
There are only 192 homes in the 275-acre enclave. These homes are custom built single story and two story floorplans of varying sizes and features. Most of the homes are architecturally inspired by the Mediterranean Revival design style. Most homes are of the executive category and typically offer between four and six bedrooms, three to five bathrooms, and 3,000 to 5,000 sq. ft. of air conditioned living space. There are also estate homes that typically offer six to eight bedrooms and bathrooms and over 6,000 square feet of air conditioned living space. Almost all of the homes have private pools and two to three-car garages. A handful of homes also have private tennis courts. Just under three quarters of the homes offer water views. There is also a small section in Whispering Woods called Whispering Woods Estates.
Homesites
The acre homesites found in Whispering Woods are among the most desirable in all of Coral Springs. They are designed for privacy, and most offer decorative landscaping. All of the utilities for the neighborhood are underground. There are no septic tanks or wells for drinking water. Only municipal sewer and water services are present.
Safety:
The Whispering Woods development is safe and quiet. Coral Springs is among the safest cities in Florida and all of the country. That being said, Whispering Woods offers 24-hour security for further peace of mind. There are two guard houses; one for each impressive entrance. There are a handful of hammocks of cypress preserves and lakes on the grounds. Whispering Woods Park is located between both entrances.
Schools:
Coral Park Elementary, Forest Glen Middle School, and Coral Springs High School are the public schools assigned to Whispering woods for 2015. Attendance boundaries for schools can change, so please verify them with the School Board before making any decisions. I will be happy to help you with this.
Location:
Whispering Woods is tucked behind Wiles Road, just east of Riverside Dr. This location is close to everything. Schools, parks, grocery stores, restaurants, shops malls, hospitals, etc… are close by. In addition, highways are only minutes away. The beach is 20-25 minutes away. Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport is 30-35 minutes away.
