Can You Spot The Tricks I Used To Make This Condo Appear Larger?

By
Home Stager with CM Staging Solutions Inc

Selling pint size condos is nothing new to people living in the Urban jungle, like Toronto, New York or London.  Builders today seem to be squeezing smaller and smaller spaces into highrise buildings and calling these pint-size units "condos".  The challenge then comes for not only the buyer and resident but also the person looking to sell this teeny tiny space to create and show a livable functional space.

Below I've added some pictures of a condo I recently staged in Toronto which you can agree has a significant amount of living space.  Tip no.1 it doesn't have to be modern I simply used this style because that is what sells in Toronto right now.  Can you spot the design elements I utilized to create the perception of more space?  After all, space is money in real estate...

The answers to my secrets will be added in a follow up blog.

Hi Rachel, maybe its the small-sized table in the dining room.  Or the few number of pieces in some rooms.  In the den you put the table on an angle.  Just some guesses.  Beautifully staged condo!

I would say its the smaller furniture a little, the other would be light colours with accent dark colours.
