I predict many more condo high rise buildings in downtown areas

By
Industry Observer

As traffic continues to build and create more drive time from rural areas around major cities, I predict many more condo high rises being built.

Unless you have large families, cities across the nation will have high rise buildings popping up all over. Single people and or couples with no children would prefer to live and work in the city.

And there are many reasons why ...

But the main reasons would be to avoid traffic, being closer to the city life, restaurants, nightclubs, etc. And some people not even owning a vehicle because of gas prices, insurance costs, etc.

And as a Real Estate agent, I could see myself making very good money selling condos in the city ;o)

VB, I agree with you as commute times get longer folks without children to send to school will want to live in the city and not care about having grass/yard to take care of. . Houston public schools frankly are not that good and folks with children who cannot afford private school move to the burbs like Katy.
