The staff at Active Rain is always making changes. Sometimes we grumble because we don't love change. We love routine and what we know. But today I discovered a change they made that I just LOVE. Yes, me, who is a creature of habit LOVES this change.
As you can see at the top of the stats page there is a new search box. You can type a headline or even a word from a headline and find all YOUR posts with that word in the headline. I've used flood as my word to find the posts I've written (about one a year) on flood insurance on Lake Sinclair. Had a new property come up needing flood insurance to close today. I poped on line to find my post and bam there it was making me love this new feature because I had the information for the client in a second.
And just for fun I looked to see how many "my Donald" posts I'd written in the past 7 years. Not as many as I would have though. I was thinking of the uses that I'm going to like with the feature including an easy address search when a listing sells so I can go mark it sold. Or find a listing that has expired or a seller took off the market and make it members only so it won't be found in searches anymore.
