One Steamboat Place in Steamboat Springs, CO will be one of the first new developments finished at the base of the Steamboat Ski Mountain. It’s going to change the way skiiers walk through Steamboat’s base area.
There will be a new gondola dropping skiers at One Steamboat Place. It will transport skiers from Wildhorse Meadows and the Meadows parking lot.
When skiers get off the new gondola, they’ll walk through a one acre heated plaza with retail shops and restaurants.
One Steamboat Place will be to your right, and the old gondola will be to your left. Steamboat Ski School (KVC? Ticket office? Another department?) will relocate to One Steamboat Place from the previous ground level location in the gondola building.
On the slopes, there will be a new pedestrian walk from One Steamboat Place to Ski Time Square and a new restaurant, The Truffle Pig, at One Steamboat Place.
