Thanks for stopping by and taking time out of your day to read my post. My intent is to put a smile on your face. Hopefully you’ll go away with some information you may have forgotten about or did not know. Now sit back and enjoy the post for the day.
Cyrus and no I’m not talking about Miley was born in Ohio around 1829. He and his brother had migrated to Texas where they found themselves in trouble with the local law. They fled to California around 1850. After arriving in California Cyrus was arrested in 1851 and sentenced to San Quentin for burglary. He escaped San Quentin but later was arrested again and escaped again fleeing to the Sierra foothills. To make a very long and vivid story short he was credited with the deaths or murders of over 100 individuals. Cyrus Skinner was hunted down by a group of Montana Vigilantes and after a mock trial was promptly hanged.
