Well if it was Texas then I would guess the short fellow next to the teacher is Ran Paul. Just a wild guess. Kinda looks like him.
2nd from the left, middle row is "Ted" Cruz. I knew him as Felito...but according to his auto-biography, he decided to change his name to Ted. I was surprised when my mom told me, "Ted Cruz went to West Briar!" as she was reading his book this summer... It's a small world!

Debbie, that was a great guess! If my memory serves me correctly, I believe the boy you mentioned was named David Kessler. And the boy to the left of him was Rod L. -- I remember Rod had lost part of one of his fingers. I won't say how (too gross)...but it is amazing the different trivia that sticks in one's head over the years. :) Felito was a very nice boy as most of the guys in our class were. There was only one "girl chaser" on the playground... ;)
