Fall & Halloween Fun around Athens, GA 2015! It's that time of the year! The air gets a crispness, all things pumpkin are found everywhere! And all the fun is all around!
Pumpkins, you know you need them!
There are some great place around Athens, GA where you can find pumpkins. Our personal favorite is the pumpkin patch at the Winterville United Methodist Church. Their Pumpkin Patch opened on 10/1/2015 and will stay open this year through 10/31/2015. The hours are : Monday– Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturdays from 10:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sundays from 1:00–8:00 p.m.
Picking out pumpkins can be serious business!
On Saturday, October 10, 2015 Winterville United Methodist Church will also host their annual festival, "A Day at the Patch" which will have inflatables, pony rides, hay rides, face painting and more!
There are quite a few other great places to find pumpkins in & around Athens, GA including:
The Milledge Avenue Baptist Church, & they have a free carnival on 10/28/2015 from 6-8pm.
Washington Farms in Watkinsville, GA, & they have a corn maze and other farm activities (there are cost to participate).
