Opinions on Marijuana across the nation

By
Industry Observer

With approx. 50% of the state of Californians using Marijuna as recreation and or health benefits, Vegas Bob is unsure about his view points on Marijuana.

When I grew up in the late 70's Marijuana, weed, refer, pot, hemp, etc. was everywhere. But back then when people smoked weed, it was done in hidden areas and had a different odor to it.

With more than half of the workers I work with on a construction project in San Jose using weed, VB has mixed feelings on Marijuana being used throughtout the state.

Vegas Bob doesn't consume Marijuana and really doesn't plan on joining the large group of users.

What's your opinion on Marijuana slowly being more and more exposed across the nation?

And if Marijuana finds it's way across the nation and becoming legal, what drug will follow in the future?

Good morning Bob,

I am not a proponent for any type of drugs as to the negative effects they cause to the body.

Most use drugs to get away from something they should take a stand on.

As to medically if it is prescribed fine if not have a good day.

Make yourself a great day.

Robert (Alaska Bob) Swetz I'm sorry that you think it is so pervasive in California. It is not. The Bay Area doesn't represent the rest of the state.

I think it's a detriment to society. There's a reason why they call it "getting high". You wouldn't allow someone to perform their job drunk so why should it be ok for someone to be "high" on the jobsite. It's whole goal is to alter the brain and numb the senses. Society will get a lot dumber than it is now if marijuana's use continues to spread.

Working in corrections and seeing the problems with this...I have never been for it and seems more like a money grab than anything.

Hello Bill ... Thanks for stopping by my friend, and it's not just the Bay Area that has the problems with people smoking Marijuana.

It has effected most of the State of California ;o/

Just a heads up ...

Anytime your driving, walking and or out in public and you smell the odor of a "SKUNK" ... 90% of the time it's the smell of Marijuana vs the smell of a Skunk!

In fact, for years now, smokers have smokeless pipes that give off no odor.

They take a toke of straight THC and their on their way ;o)

I don't mind at all that people use it and it makes sense that it would have some medicinal benefits.  I think with anything that can become addicting, moderation is the key.  I have never smoked it either and don't necessarily have a desire to start doing so, haha.

Hello Nicole ... very well said my friend and I am afraid that marijuana has spread far and fast, and I am afraid the results have already started effecting people's brains ;o/

And I am thinking that some members are not stopping by to comment maybe because they ____ke marijuana ;o)

My mind races enough without smoking it.  On the job when building is a very bad idea.  It's a "recreational" drug, and not to be done while NOT recreating, IMHO!

The power elite that run the world is using this to dumb down society even further, so it will be easy for a national take-over which in part has already happened through social engineering and welfare.
