The Top Three Pay it Forward Winners Announced

The December Pay it Forward challenge came to an end last night as the big ball dropped in Times Square. Happy New Year everyone!

This was the second year for the Pay it Forward challenge and we had some fabulous entries. Our community truly has big hearts!!!!

It was difficult to narrow down the top three from all of the touching entries, but these three really touched our hearts.

First place – Liz and Bill Spears. The moved us all with their sheer generosity and kindness towards the Dragonfly Foundation for kids with cancer. Here is their link. Thank you Liz and Bill Spear !!!!!

Second Place – Lottie Kendall. She and her family have made such a difference in the lives of many less fortunate this holiday season with her annual adopt a family tradition. Here is Lottie's link. Thank you Lottie!!!

Third Place – Kathleen Daniels. Kathleen went above and beyond by donating her car to a family in need. I know she used her bicycle as transportation for a while. Hopefully she has a new car for herself now!

Hi Belinda Spillman Great idea for a contest, Congratulations to the winners and all those that entered, you are all winners...Love Paying it Forward. I bought a fellow Realtor lunch last month(I wanted to says thanks for being supportive during the year) and I suggested he take someone out to lunch & buy their lunch and suggest they pay it forward. He did not understand at first and was insisting he would buy lunch for me next time...I said know please buy someone else lunch..he finally seemed to understand. Paying it forward can have a huge impact.

In 2016 I am dedicating myself to helping three local businesses I found on Kiva. They are Gold Star Cards and Gifts, C.A.N. (Create Art Now) Studio, and Mindful Indulgences (Truffle Chocolates and more). I am going to use them in my prospecting campaign for new clients and give them a portion of each commission I earn in 2016. I am really excited about this campaign and will post about it through out the year.
