New Year Resolutions used to be a fun thing to do until the day I realized it was an exercise of wishful thinking. We all had a number of resolutions that had good intentions but no real motivation to accomplish them. So, why bother? 
Many of the items were big items like, lose 50 pounds, get in shape, declutter the house, clean out the garage and on and on and on. Then on top of that came the Real Estate resolutions. The list became so long and daunting it was overwhelming and when things seem overwhelming things don't get accomplished, plain & simple.
What's the answer, for you, I don't know. For me, it's make one resolution, only. So my resolution for this year is to exhibit the aspects of love (NOT the gushy, touchy, feelie slobbering kind people envision. You know, all that over the top stuff). Rather, the aspects that will make me a better man and person. The graphic below says it all. If you're a man it's a way to be a better MAN and appeals to women and if you're a woman it's feminine and appealing to men.
What's this got to do with Real Estate? Everything! Buying and Selling Real Estate is a giant emotional experience which can bring out negative qualities in our fellow humans and "could" draw us into the negative side of human nature. Sit and ponder the teaching above. I looked at each area and could see where I had failed in some way, shape or form in every relationship I was in. THUS, my resolution to become a better person by modeling the virtues of the love teaching.
I pray 2016 will be the best year that we all have ever experienced. Happy New Year. Love Never Fails is the end result.
