Fremont Union High School District has proposed a boundary change for Lynbrook High School with a public hearing meeting set for 9:30 am Sat., January 9th at Lynbrook High School's auditorium, 1280 Johnson Ave., San Jose, CA.

Any homeowner within the Fremont Union High School District, and particularly within the Lynbrook High School boundary area, should be sure to read up on both sides of the issue and attend the meeting on Sat. Jan. 9th at Lynbrook High's auditorium (1280 Johnson Ave., San Jose, CA 95129) to share your view.

The final decision-making meeting 6:15 pm on Jan. 12 at the Fremont High auditorium at 1280 Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road in Sunnyvale, CA.

There are numerous ways to get involved, including distributing petitions for signatures, flyers, posting signs (see article image) and more.

Rather than shifting a particular geographic group of current Cupertino High students to Lynbrook, my understanding of the betterlynbrook group's petition is to for FUHSD to reinstate open enrollment for Lynbrook and make open enrollment available to all students within FUHSD until capacity is reached.

Please attend the meetings on Sat., Jan. 9th at 9:30 am and Tues., Jan. 12th at 6:15 pm and make your opinion known to the Fremont Union High School District.
