MONDAY MOTIVATION...Looking for opportunity

By
Real Estate Agent with Austin Texas Homes

What does opportunity look like today? In an ever changing market we need to be able to adjust our focus. One of the interesting new trends across America is downsizing in living. Part of the trend is due to the Baby boomers retiring but many who were burned by the housing bubble or watched other get burned are now re-thinking the American dream of what a home looks like.

This is MONDAY MOTIVATION FOR YOU AND ME; let's take a closer look at the trend and identify builders that are responding to it.

Go out and make it a great Monday.

I think possibly another reason for the downsizing is that Millenials, now the largest generation in US History, tend to prefer urban settings

Many are downsizing as maintaining a large home is expensive.  Utilities and maintenance have crimped the budgets of many households. Corey makes a good point. Millennials love urban settings which often costs more per square foot than the burbs.
