First Impressions

I was intriqued when I ran across an article titled:

People Judge Your Personality Based On These 7 Small Things".

Like it or not, right or wrong, people are judging you every day.  You've heard the saying that you don't have a second chance to make a good first impression.

What criteria are people using to judge you?

Here is a list of the 7 things:

1. Your handwriting
2. Your color  (it's not what you're thinking)
3. Your fingernails
4. Your shoes
5. Your eyes
6. Your puncuality
7. Your handshake

Are leaving a good first impression?

Do you find yourself judging others based on these criteria?

The complete article isn't long and will be worth your time to read the details.

Yours for success,
Carol

I've known about shoes for as long as I remember and that's one thing I look at. You shouldn't be wearing worn out shoes if your a professional.

I agree. People notice more than we think. What kind of energy are you giving out, and another item I think that they notice is our words. What are you saying, and how is it being percieved?

So do you mean if I'm a healthy glow or if I'm wearing a red shirt.

I can tell you that I totally fail in the shoe department.  I just can't wear pretty shoes, I'm all about the comfort.  I would say I pass with flying colors on the rest of the list.

Hi Carol Williams ,  These are mostly things we have heard as we were growing up, but it is always nice to be remnded. I am always reminded of one important point, whenever I talk to a client that has just had lunch with garlic, or onions, so I try to always take breath mints with me everywhere.  Sometimes, even what you drive may affect a client, so we always make sure the cars are cleaned.

Thanks for the reminder!
