May 3rd Caring and Sharing Day: Do you love yard sales?? Well I do too... GUESS WHAT?? I found something that is better than a Yard Sale. There will be a "Caring and Sharing" Day held at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church this weekend. The CARING and SHARING Day will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on the front lawn of the Church. Members of the community will be bring all of their items to display.
So are you wondering why is this better than a yard sale. The answer is: Because everything is F-R-E-E!! The items will be given away at no cost. Just come by
and pick up any items that you see you want. This "Yard Free" Day is open to the public. What a wonderful opportunity to share with others things around the home that could benefit someone else!!
If I wasn't going to be out of town on Saturday, I too would go drop off some items to be given away. If you have some items around the house that you no long want or need but are still in good shape and someone else may be able to use, you can begin dropping the items off on the church lawn at 6:00am on Saturday morning. I think this is a great way to help others while taking care of that needed spring cleaning!!
