The media paints such a depressing picture of the Real Estate market. Boy! My business is going through the roof! Last week I had 2 listings sell. One was in multiple offers. I had on buyer sale and almost had a second one but lost it in multiple offers(3rd time with this couple.). Property is selling and the buyer activity is picking up.
The homes that are selling have two things in common:
- The properties are staged and conditioned to sell. The sellers of these homes have taken the time to prepare their home and utilized professional stagers. None of these homes have clutter, the carpet has been replaced, and walls freshly painted.
- The ellers and agents are pricing these homes at market pricing or slightly bellow the market. The results are outstanding. The couple i menioned before lost a home that sold for 21k over list price. The Listing agent postioned the home as an outstanding value.
The sellers that understand Market Dynamics and are willing to listen to their expierenced professional agents are getting their homes sold. It is funny that the media never tells the other side of the story.
